Privacy

Escape the Office is designed to work without an account. This page explains the limited data used by the game and how advertising may use data when ads are enabled.

Local game data

Leaderboard names, morale scores, and completion times are stored in your browser using localStorage. That leaderboard is local to your device and is not transmitted to the game owner. You can remove it by clearing this site's stored browser data.

Hosting logs

The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access for security, reliability, and aggregate service measurement.

Advertising

This site is registered with Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to deliver, measure, personalize, and limit ads. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Where required, a consent message will let you manage advertising choices before advertising cookies or similar storage are used. You can revisit the choices offered by that message when it is available.

More information is available in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Google's advertising policies, and Google's Privacy Policy.

Analytics status

No third-party analytics endpoint is currently configured. The game includes an integration point for privacy-conscious event measurement, but it does not transmit those events unless an endpoint is explicitly enabled.

Children

The game is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Players should not use a real full name in the local leaderboard.

Changes

This notice will be revised when the site's data or advertising practices materially change.
